Winter Bird Count

  • Brukner Nature Center 5995 Horseshoe Bend Road Troy, OH, 45373 United States (map)

Come join the BNC staff and Bird Club members for a morning hike as we conduct our annual survey of birds found at BNC. This data provides valuable information on population trends, enabling us to better manage this beautiful nature preserve. Over the past several years we have spotted over 30 species including hermit thrushes, fox sparrows and brown creepers!

We’ll meet at 9:00am in the Interpretive Building, divide into groups and head out onto the trails. We’ll meet back at the center for a hot lunch and to tally our results. Everyone is welcome. Please bring a dish to share for lunch – soup and coffee provided.

Please register by calling 937-698-6493, in case we have to make changes due to inclement weather.
